Famous Mountain is an online store, only. We do not currently have a physical shop.
Delivery is calculated by The Courier Guy via a plugin which integrates with our ecommerce store. Once you have selected your products, at the checkout screen you will be given the option to collect or have your order delivered.
We do not have control of their system, and we do not charge any fees on top of their charges.
If you choose to use your own courier you will not be charged a delivery or handling fee.
There has been an issue in recent months with the courier plugin integration resulting in certain addresses not working properly, in this case please read HERE on how to proceed.

Please note that all couriers have a surcharge for farm deliveries and remote areas and we recommend that you use a town address for delivery, if you live on a farm
If you prefer to send your own courier or want to collect your order yourself, please select the “own collection” option before placing your order and proceeding to payment. Once we have received your order and payment, we will contact you with the details of the time and place of collection in Observatory, Cape Town.
Orders are packed and processed within 24 hours. Orders placed before 12h00 on weekdays will be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 12h00 on weekdays will be dispatched on the next weekday. Orders placed after 12h00 on Fridays or during weekends will be dispatched on Mondays. We will contact you as soon as your order has been received and dispatched and we will supply you with a tracking number to track your delivery.
Overnight deliveries will take place for orders placed before 12h00 on weekdays, only in Cape Town and surrounds. Orders for overnight deliveries that are received after 12h00 will be dispatched on the following day and received on the next day. Road freight deliveries take between 2 and 4 days from date of dispatch, depending on your location. Please note that no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.
In the event that your order was damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we will make the necessary arrangements to replace or refund.
If we have made a mistake with your order, we will rectify it immediately, by sending the correct goods or arranging a refund.
If you have bought an item in error and wish to return it, please contact us to request the return. We will try our best to accommodate your returns on products in their original packaging. Shipping costs may apply if you choose to return goods.
